Denzel Washington Gets Baptized & Becomes a Licensed Minister in Training

Look at God! 🙌🏾 Denzel Washington was baptized and ordained as a licensed Minister-in-Training this week at his childhood church, The Historic Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ in New York City.

The iconic actor testified that 50 years ago, he received a prophecy that he would preach, and at 70 years old he's answered the call.

Mr. Washington has openly proclaimed his love for God over the years, and was a member of West Angeles #COGIC in Los Angeles—so this next step wasn’t shocking to his fans and supporters. 💯

He testified to being filled with the #HolySpirit after visiting another church with the actor Robert Townsend in the 80’s.

But this week he proclaimed, “It took a while, but I’m finally here…If [God] can do this for me, there’s nothing He can’t do for you. The sky literally is the limit.”
