Whitney Houston Song Released After 30 Years

Delayed but NOT denied! #WhitneyHouston performed ‘Love Is’ live in South Africa on November 8, 1994. The album that includes the studio version, live performance, and remix of the song was released on November 8, 2024—30 years later 😮🎉

The studio version was recorded in 1990 after #CarvinWinans Sr. wrote the song, but was put on hold after an issue occurred between Houston and the producer who worked on the record.

Winans shared the news on social media last month and his supporters wanted to know the backstory. How did he write the song? How did Whitney end up singing it? And WHY wasn’t it available before now?

The two met when they were signed to the same agency because Whitney wanted to meet the person who wrote the hit #gospel song ‘Tomorrow’. It was this encounter that led to Whitney becoming a close friend of #thewinansfamily 👏🏾 And the rest is history ❤️

@carvinwinansmusic shared his thoughts on the release stating, “God’s timing is always perfect.”🙏🏾

Isn’t this incredible? ✨ #blackchurchtok
